• To establish separate home for boys and girls.
  • To help the poor and orphan children and to meet their basic necessities of life irrespective of caste,class,religion or sex.
  • To provide financial assistance to children who are residing outside the mariella children home
  • To establish one old age home at Vayalur village
  • To work for the complete infrastructural development of vayalur village and near by villages
  • To work for the complete development of women and children
  • To establish self help groups for women
  • To provide support to conduct marriages of poor villagers.


  • Providing free food, clothes, books, note-books, uniforms, shoes, school bags, study and writing materials etc. with periodical medical check-up to the inmates of Mariella Children’s Home and other weaker sections in Chennai, Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram Dist.
  • Helping poor students of slum areas of Chennai, Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram District.
  • Distribution of relief materials to the affected people in disaster periods.
  • Providing financial assistance to the rural and economically very poor students identified by remitting the fees directly to the colleges, polytechnic, Nursing and Teacher training Institute where they study.
  • Organizing free health camps, eye camps, awareness programme on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis etc., Our Trust is a registered member of Tamilnadu Tuberculosis control network.
  • Providing training courses for under privileged women in tailoring, hand embroidery and painting.
  • Providing training courses for Self Help Groups (SHC) formed by the Trust.
  • Distributing needy materials to physically Handicapped and widows.
  • Conducting evening classes for slum area students at Chennai, Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur District Providing financial assistances to economically poor.
  • Please note many kids now living in the home were lost their parents in Tsunami Hit on 26th December 2004.
  • Our Trust is registered with the Directorate of Social Welfare Chennai, Tamilnadu Social Welfare Department. We run the home as per the guidelines of Child Welfare Committee and Child Protection Officer.
  • The Trust got many achievement appreciations from many institutions.
